New PhD Course at IUSS – Pavia

PhD “The Hadron Academy – Risk and complexity in high tech medical innovation ” – Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS – PAVIA

A new PhD program is active from the incoming academic year at IUSS. Stemming from the agreement between IUSS, Fondazione CNAO (https://fondazionecnao.it/) and University of Cagliari (https://www.unica.it), this PhD course is related to topics that are intrinsically characterized by complexity and interdisciplinarity, potentially involving candidates with different backgrounds, namely students from the biomedical field (medical doctors, radiotherapists, health physicists, biologists, biotechnologists), from the technological field ( bioengineers, physicists,data scientists), from humanities and social areas (law, economy, philosophy, etc), focussing on multiple research aspects related to the field of Hadrotherapy, in which CNAO is a worldwide renown excellence.
