Junior Researcher/Post Doc Researcher in Sensory System for Soft Robots
Two Researcher positions (Junior Researcher/Post Doc Researcher) in development of a sensory system for a soft wearable robot are available to support the activities of the BioRobotics Institute and SMB Laboratory on the €5.4 million EU-funded project “SWAG – SOFT WEARABLE ASSISTIVE GARMENTS FOR HUMAN EMPOWERMENT”.

We are looking for world-class researchers with strong research potential, interested in studies, researches and developments of soft sensor and mechatronics components. You will join a vibrant and exciting research project and will work with 13 European partners, leading professors and a team research and technical staff across multiple disciplines including soft robotics, smart fabrics, human-assistive exoskeletal devices, and hardware and software intelligence.

You should apply if
• You are keen to work in the field of soft robotics through the tools and methodologies of the mechatronic design of robotic components and systems, with particular emphasis on the design and development of a sensory system for a wearable device based on highly deformable materials
• You are excited about working in a multi-disciplinary team

Two positions are available:
• junior assistant researcher with possibility to start a PhD program by the end of 2024 (gross salary 19.367,00 €/year, equivalent to 1400-1500€ net/month);
