Tissue Engineering for Disease Modelling (TE4DM) – June 18–19, 2026 in Rome
27.02 2026
The conference “Tissue Engineering for Disease Modelling (TE4DM)” will take place in Rome, at the Cloister of the Faculty of Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome, on June 18–19, 2026.
The event, organized with the support of the National Group of Bioengineering (GNB), aims to bring together researchers active in the field of tissue engineering and advanced disease models, with a particular focus on 3D bioprinting, organ-on-chip technologies, and innovative in vitro approaches for investigating pathological mechanisms and developing new therapeutic strategies.
The call for abstract submission is currently open: the scientific committee welcomes contributions for both oral and poster presentations. In addition, with the aim of promoting emerging scientific excellence, a selection of abstracts submitted by early-career researchers will be chosen for keynote lectures, offering an important opportunity for visibility within the scientific program.
The event places special emphasis on supporting young researchers, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral fellows, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and interaction between academia and industry.
Further information about the event, the scientific program, and abstract submission guidelines will be progressively made available on the official conference website.
