National PhD in Science and Technology for Advanced Therapies (STAT)

We announce the publication of the call for applications for the National PhD Programme in Science and Technology for Advanced Therapies (STAT). Further details about the PhD programme are available on the dedicated webpage.

This is a highly interdisciplinary PhD programme, designed to train young researchers capable of working across different fields of knowledge, technologies, and approaches in the area of advanced therapies. The programme is structured into three curricula, covering a broad and integrated range of topics across science, technology, and biomedical innovation.

In particular, we would like to highlight that Curriculum 1 includes topics of direct interest to the bioengineering community, with significant opportunities also in the field of artificial intelligence applied to biomedicine. For this reason, we believe that this call may represent a very interesting opportunity for students and young collaborators coming not only from biomedical backgrounds, but also from engineering, physics, and quantitative disciplines.
